This exhibition actually pays tribute to the food-freezing appliance, which the artist has depicted in a larger-than-life format. The work of Zuzana Růžičková (born in 1982) is characterized by raw humor and raw experimentation: from her images, plaster may sometimes flake, wax may drip or a tear may fall — and this unrestrained mix becomes fertile ground for her unique fragile poetics and an aesthetic that refrains from cliché and pandering.
