Over the course of eight weeks, the gallery successively presented eight artists who had become legends within the context of Vladimír Kokolia’s Graphics 2 Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Some of them had become well established on the art scene, while others had worked intensively in their own studios for years, and thus their creations was a special surprise for the public.
With its ground-floor location and large windows in Prague’s Old Town, Galerie Havelka allows passersby a clear view of its interior. The artists created their works in situ, under the direct gaze of the public.
