Arab Jewish Cultural Center Beit hagefen, Haifa, Israel was founded in 1963. It aims to continue the task of merging the Arab and Jewish residents of Israel. By combining common cultural and artistic activities of civil society is to encourage peaceful coexistence, good neighborliness and mutual tolerance.
Ensemble Al-Karma operates within the Arab Jewish Cultural Center Beit Hagefen, was founded in 1968. His repertoire consists mainly of performances for children and youth, but also for adults. Artists perform in the Arab and Jewish towns, villages throughout Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt and Morocco. Through the art of trying to as ”Messengers of Peace“ build bridges between the Arab world and Israel. They use their art as a tool against peaceful war, violence, hatred and indifference.
