In his drawings the sculptor Pavel Opočenský amplifies the same principles he uses in his sculptures: in dynamic perspectival compositions he allows geometric shapes to penetrate one another, to consume one another, to multiply and show them sometimes in almost erotic interaction. Jana Šárová draws psychedelic labyrinths composed of organic forms in which, under the guise of decorative ornamentation, perverse micro-stories flourish. The exhibition “Collision” presents a subversive encounter of seemingly contradictory worlds, not only within one gallery but also on the surface of one sheet of paper.
